Hopkins County is home to The Glema Mahr Center for the Arts -- a performing and visual arts venue with a 1,036-seat auditorium, located on the campus of Madisonville Community College. Additionally, Hopkins County has a wide variety of outdoor festivals, art clubs, a movie theatre complex, and a host of other leisure opportunities.

Friday Night Live Downtown street festival in Madisonville held on the second Friday in June, July and August.
